 1     ARE YOUR INITIAL DEPOSITS REFUNDABLE?

Please keep in mind that all deposits are nonrefundable as it is our way of securing your spot in our queue.  We often book our projects several months ahead of time and scheduling is the key to making sure we give all of our clients the proper amount of time their project deserves.  With that, we often turn away clients for your reserved time slot.  Therefore, if you back out it may leave an empty spot that could have been given to another project.  Our nonrefundable deposit is our way of securing payment and making sure our clients are serious about moving forward with their project.

download     WHAT ARE YOUR BILLING AND INVOICING METHODS?

We accept Paypal payments or written checks/bank transfer($USD). Most project payments are made in two parts; the first half payment is due upon booking and to hold your spot in our design calendar.  The second half of the project payment is due a week prior to the estimated project start date. We offer extended payment plans for projects over $1,500 total with 4 total milestone payments across the span of our project together to make the investment works for you.

3     DO YOU HOST THE WEBSITES YOU DESIGN?

No, the desired domain name and hosting services must be purchased by the client. There are several hosting services that provide excellent customer service.  If you are looking for a reliable and cost efficient hosting service for your WordPress Site, We recommend that you use bluehost.com or hostgator.com for your domain purchase and hosting services.  Our team works with both of these providers on a regular basis.  With that said, Atelier 21 is not responsible for server downtime, software issues or any other compatibility issue that may arise after the launch of the site.

4     DO YOU HAVE OFFICE HOURS?

In an effort to respect your time as well as our time, we have working office hours. Monday through Friday between the hours of 10 pm and 5 pm EST and emails are accepted anytime. We typically respond to emails anywhere from 24 hours to 72 business hours after receipt.  We do our best to respond as promptly as possible and response time usually depends on the workload at that time.

 


 

TERMS AND AGREEMENT

Property rights of the shop and its content are owned by and licensed to © Atelier Twenty One (Atelier 21). None of the content may be downloaded, copied, reproduced, transmitted, stored, sold or distributed without the prior written consent of the copyright holder.

Copyright and Trademarks.

The Atelier Twenty One (or Atelier 21) will leave a small link to the footer of the website. Please do not remove this link unless you took down the whole work we have created for you; unless the client purchased the complete design rights in order to remove the footer credit.Atelier Twenty One (or Atelier 21) has intellectual and creative rights of every design that Atelier Twenty One (or Atelier 21) has created. If a designer/developer claims our work as their own we will inquire the removal of the code and will also take full legal action.

Web Site Maintenance.

We offer a free maintenance to our custom design clients. This agreement allows for minor web site maintenance to pages over ONE (1-MONTH period. It does not include: updating or replacing nearly all elements, major page reconstruction, new pages, navigation structure changes, attempted updates (tweaks in code) by the client. The period of one (1) month begins on the date the clients web design site has been launched to client’s hosting service. Major page code and/or database structural changes will be charged at current hourly rates.

Installation

In order to install your design, we will need temporary access to your website and through FTP(Wordpress only). It can be a temporary password to blog invitation (Blogger). The Atelier Twenty One (or Atelier 21) does not store any of your information.

Communication

All communication will be done via email. We’d much prefer this method to prevent misunderstanding of both. It is important to stay on track and that we progress at a reasonable speed so that our clients who are patiently waiting can be attended to as quickly as possible. Failure to communicate in a timely manner (within 7 business days) may result in your project being placed on hold for up to 4 weeks. Fees will be added for designs that take longer than 15 business days if it’s due to client indecision/slow reply. After 30 business days of no communication, your project will be canceled. No refunds will be given for the already paid work.It shall be your own responsibility to ensure that any products, services or information available through this website meets your specific requirements. Please always backup your blog before making changes to the design, code or even when you are updating. Broken pages or design/code as a result of inexperienced attempts at coding or updating are not our responsibility.

Revision

Each client will get 6 revision rounds. We ask that you keep your revisions contained to one revision round per email. Once your design has been installed, it is considered complete. Any further revisions will be subject to get charged at an hourly rate. Full payment must be made prior to the production of additional revisions. Errors as a result of inexperienced attempts to code after the end of the project are not our responsibility to fix and are not included in any package. If you want us to fix the problem, it can be done at an hourly rate of $75.
